I just got a new computer and it came with Windows Nedia 9 but I wanted to get 10. Whebn I went to download it it said that it was incompatible with this version of windows. I did try 11 and it worked. Any solutions?
Okay I'll try, but I don't know what your system is or which version of Windows runs on it, so fill me in here or send me a note.
Now my first question is if you can get 11 why do you want 10? Media player 11 is better and has more features. Once your use to it it just like 10 with a little more. If I wanted 10 and all was equal I'd go to www.microsoft.com. On that page you'll see a search box, so type in download for media player 10. I know you've already tried to get it, but I'm not sure what source, so if it doesn't work at this site then it won't. The other place may have not had a licensed copy of 10 and Microsoft is getting snot about that.

Hmm, are you using Windows XP? You can get Windows mediaplayer 10 from www.oldversion.com. I believe
An update:
I had to uninstall all the windows media 11 uppdates then roll back windows media player itself to version 9 which was previously on this computer. Then I was able to get 10.
i like 10 better because it gives an accurate number of files and it's more responsive.
I am glad you were able to get 10. I prefer 11 better because of the wealth of control you have in the library accessing tones, or media content. Also sync with media players is simple and you can see your complete sync list. But that is my opinion right? Enjoy 10.
